3.1 Marcom Applications
Marcom provides web & mobile solutions, which are contracted by event organizers (our clients). Our clients use our applications to manage various aspects of their events. Marcom is the data processor while our client is the data controller who is responsible for your data.
3.2 Use of Marcom Applications
Our clients use our applications to manage events. This includes but is not limited to building an event mini-website, registering and collecting information about participants, providing networking and appointment scheduling facilities to participants, printing an event catalogue which may include a list of participants, generating badges…
Marcom does not control the content or the type of information that our clients choose to collect using our applications. That information belongs to them (as data controller) and is used, disclosed and protected by them according to their own privacy policy.
Marcom processes information in accordance with our agreement with our clients. Our agreement with our clients prohibits us from using that information except as necessary to provide the service contracted. Our clients control and are responsible for correcting, deleting or updating information they have collected from you using our applications. Marcom works closely with its clients to comply with regulations and assist them with data collection, processing and usage.
4.1 When you visit our websites
You can visit our websites without providing any information about yourself. For very specific purpose you may however have to provide personal information. We also collect navigational information.
